This is my version of a AFSOC (US Air Force Special Operations Command) Pararescue or simply called PJ’s (Para-Jumpers).
PJ’s major task is recovery/retrieval of personnel (e.g. pilots, aircraft crews, etc.) within hostile or enemy occupied areas.
The PJ helmet is from Dragon DML PJ Jose figure, the Hot Toys version helmet is hard to find and is expensive so i settled for this one which was really cheap but turns out to be great quality.
The uniform is from Dragon DML GSG9 sniper figure. It matched the color of the helmet and it would be a change having a PJ in this color outfit. The body armor vest is from Toy Soldiers combined with Dragon DML ammo pouches (woodland camo). Then a Hot Toys backpack molle attached and a large waistpouch act as medical and gear bag.
This PJ helmet is nice (night vision and com included), just look for a proper match size headsculpt to fit it. I’m using Hot Toys headsculpt from their 10th Mountain Sniper figure. A Radio is attached to this helmet, i got the radio pouch (3-color desert camo) from Very Hot Toys PJ figure.
I designate this PJ as a Sniper, using a Hot Toys MK14 EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle) long barrel version from their Modern Firearms 4 Collection equiped with retractable stock, rails, scope, and AN-PEQ2 (a laser pointer target designator).
Sidearm is Glock with mounted light and holster from BBI. Multi-purpose drop leg pouch from Soldier Story.
Kneepads from Hot Toys Iron Man figure, included also elbow pads from ZC girl toys / Jump gloves from Hot Toys VBSS figure / Jump rope from Soldier Story PJ figure / Combat Knife from Hot Toys.
“It is my duty as a Pararescueman to save life and to aid the injured. I will be prepared at all times to perform my assigned duties quickly and efficiently, placing these duties before personal desires and comforts. These things I do, that others may live” – PJ’s Code (Wikipedia).
